After a year and half of experience with the 3310 running in a Macintosh environment, I am delighted with some of its features. Photo prints are magnificent. Document printing, scanning, copying, and faxing all work perfectly. Wireless communication is great. Although it took a year and a half for hp to correct software problems that made OCR and slide scanning features unavailable to Mac users, once the problems were fixed, the results were awesome.
This machine is one of the best toys I got myself. This is truly a plug and play piece. One of the major attractions besides it being a 4 in 1 was the “wireless” bit. I did not have much difficulty setting it up. The online hp tech support sent me a step by step installation guide via email.
The only drawback I have noted so far: if faxing or scanning numerous pages, it becomes a bit tedious since the only input is the basic face down glass.
